“We were very settled in our three-bed semi and loved the area, but we were really struggling with space since having kids.

We dreamt of moving into a four-bed house with an extra bathroom but the cost of moving was really high, once you take into consideration the substantial extra cost of the bigger property, stamp duty, fees and moving costs etc.

So we decided to look into having a loft conversion done and shopped around and got a variety of quotes. We felt rather daunted by the process as you do hear of lot of horror stories about rogue traders.

However, as soon as we met Terry at Asset we felt we trusted him and that they were right for us. Terry was very informative and explained the whole process very clearly. Asset also offered a complete design and build service and the quote they provided us with showed the whole process in stages and time frames. They also offered us a staged payment plan which helped us manage our budget and gave us peace of mind.

Once work started the build team were really professional and punctual. They were considerate and tidy to minimise the disruption to a young family and we particularly appreciated that.

The team was well structured and communication was excellent. We were kept really well informed throughout the whole process and taken through all the design options at each stage to make sure we were happy with everything.

Our beautiful new loft was completed on time and on budget. The whole build took just seven weeks and and we now have a new big double bedroom with a Juliette balcony giving us super views and a lovely en-suite bathroom.

The build quality and craftsmanship is excellent and we now have the four bedroom, two-bathroom home we could only dream of. The overall cost has been less than moving and has added a lot of value to our home.
